I recently set up a three-computer network. One computer A, however, I can
see the other computers on the network but the other computers don't
recognize computer A.
My firewall, NetDefense, is set to allow two-way traffic.
Are there any Windows 98-SE settings that could be causing this
problem?
Thanks, CMA

Make sure that File and Printer Sharing is enabled on computer A.
Temporarily un-install the firewall to make sure that it isn't
improperly configured.

Can the other computers ping computer A's IP address or its computer
name?

Thanks, Steve, for the useful post. I found an error in the Firewall
configuration. It turned out that it had to be configured to allow traffic
on all detected networks. If I block one, it blocks them all.
Cheers, CMA
