Hello.

After reinstalling Windows Server 2003 (with the same name and
maintaining drive mapping on client) I can't connect to the server from
WXP SP1 machine which had offline files enabled. When double-click tray
icon for offline files I get window with entry for that server with
status "offline" and information "unavailable for reconnect".

How do I force it connect to server and synchronize files?

Thanks a lot.
WBR,
KP.

If you have reinstalled the OS it is not the same entity, even if you
have given it the same name. You will have to set up a new connection.

The new server will have a different security identifier, even though
you gave it the same name. You will need to remap the share.
