Anyone know of websites where you can volunteer un-used CPU time? Like for
medical research. Thanks for any help.

Google is your friend. Use it to search for "volunteer unused CPU time".

You'll get thousands of hits.

I don't know if this is of any interest to you, but i started using the SETI
screensaver as a way of utilising CPU time. On one or two occasions in the
summer (UK, so not much of that) the computer turned itself off. After a
bit of searching i found that it was a thermal prection device ion the
motherboard. SETI was using 100% of the CPU.

Just something to be aware of!

Hi,

A few days late in responding, but if you want to volunteer for medical
analysis project, this site
http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/jo.../join_now.html is like Seti and
Boinc. They are asking for computers with free time to help with disease,
genes, etc.
