Following a complaint to OFTEL, by Tiscali and Thus over ADSL migration
charges in June 2003, OFCOM has now published a consultation over ADSL
migration charges.

Its at
http://www.ofcom.org.uk/consultation...nd.pdf?a=87101
and it appears that OFCOM are proposing a wholesale charge of
£11/migration - based on BT's "efficiently incurred costs"

Regards
Sunil

In addition, BT has already notified Ofcom of its intention to change its
migration price and will be making a separate announcement later today.

BT has also formally requested that Ofcom waive the requirement for BT to
notify Ofcom of price changes 28 days before they take affect, which Ofcom
has granted. The proposed price change to be announced by BT will take
effect on 1 May 2004.

Regards
Sunil

Hi,

This is definately good news. We will be looking to implement it as
soon as BT reduce the charges for us.
