Odd WLAN behavior

Greetings,

I've been using WLAN with my laptop at home for some time until recently I
decided to install AP's at work (Orinoco AP-2000s). I am using a Compaq EVO
Multibay adapter. Getting the laptop to connect to our two AP's went
without a hitch. At home, I somehow lost the ability to browse the network
using FQDN. I had to use IP addresses to connect to work resources and was
able to hit a couple of sites using IP addresses. The following day or two,
I lost all connection to my AP. Win XP Pro can associate with the AP and it
gets excellent connectivity, but I cannot ping any addresses including those
in my LAN. My wife's laptop uses an Orinoco WLAN PC Card (and she browses
ok), so I installed the card in mine and was still unable to browse or ping
any addresses. When
my laptop is wired, I can browse without any issues. I tried uninstalling
my card drivers and reinstalling as well as removing all AP associations
just in case they were interfering with my AP at home. Still no luck. Is
it possible that a WinXP Pro WLAN component is corrupt? I'd hate to
reinstall my entire PC software. All my IPs are fine and sem to be ok.
Thanks in advance.

Raul
