Hi all,

I have 2 laptops and a desktop which I use to connect to the internet
wirelessly via a wireless router. The 2 laptops connect and work
perfectly.

The desktop wirelessly connects, works fine, but then randomly after a
few hours although it still SAYS it is connected and an IPCONFIG still
shows the correct IP info, I cannot ping the machine, and the machine
cannot ping the router/other 2 machines.

The way to recover from this is to click "repair" on the connection or
essentially disable/enable the connection. I have tested using our
cordless phones etc and checking if it interferes, but no result. I
have also checked the event logs and cannot find anything suspicious.
We have no firewall etc on that PC (yet, as I want to get it working
100% first!)

Any ideas???
Thanks
Raj

check your adaptor settings,

mine, hidden deep, has a power save setting which is by default OFF.

you might have a setting that is ON.
