When occurs CONNECTING on netstat??

Sometimes my program using unix socket is in CONNECTING state like
below.
When occurs connecting on netstat??
please let me know~!

$netstat -x
....
unix 3 [ ] STREAM CONNECTING 0 /tmp/.server
unix 3 [ ] STREAM CONNECTING 0 /tmp/.server
....
