O2 vs Be

"Which" in last years Best Buy had Be, this year it is O2. ( Be as dropped
somewhat on list)
I know both are owned by O2.

Do they have different equipment?
LLU for Be is up to 24 meg and O2 is up to 20 meg.
Be give me 12 meg on the speed testers.
As I feel Be are excellent I can't understand them not still being Best Buy.
Is it just because O2 2 or 3 pounds cheaper?

No BBC 1 or 2, no Ch4 or Five HD.
ITV1 a couple of programmes a week in HD

Yes noticed that if you have a phone package a cheaper rate, but I only need
BB ISP.
My £2/3 difference I note now is not that wide.
Be quote VAT inclusive but I think O2 is VAT extra.

I don't think it is. I think it's illegal to advertise a consumer product
as ex-VAT these days.

What are our payment terms and charges?
You are responsible for paying the fees as laid out on the website
www.o2.co.uk (which are subject to change), VAT and any other tax liability
that apply to the Services, .......

To me that reads you pay the price on web site and VAT on top.

Last time I looked at the o2 prices they were £7.50, £9.99 and £17.50. They
are now £7.34, £9.79 and £17.13 which according to Excel is what they should
be now VAT is 15%.

And most services say what you have quoted to protect themselves from VAT
changes and any other made up new tax that might come about.
