My BE ADSL2+ seems to be suffering in the early evening. I noticed it at about 1700
yesterday and today, by 1800 it was back to normal.
Normal in my case is in >17Mb/s down & >1Mb/s up
Throttled was 2Mb/s down and 60 or 70 KILObits/sec
Several speed-test sites agreeing.

Sync speed does not move from a rock solid 2.2195 Mb/s down & 1.386 Mb/s up

Anyone else, I'm in North Manchester.
I think I will raise a ticket.

A few days ago the BBC click program made a big splash about them
streaming ultra high definition TV at 350Mbits across to Japan, for a
pop music concert (The Charlatans).

I suggest due to this the whole internet experience for the UK may have
blipped and someone had been sent to find some water to replenish the
knackered and dried out string.

(I had strange routing problems on Be, a few days ago. And so did others
- It's been discussed in the forums)

Hi there Nicola.
Those f8lure graphs have reminded me that I have f8lure continuously pinging
my router. Here is today's trace
http://bbbbbbmm.netfirms.com/f8lure.JPG
The historic graphs show serious events:
2/10 between 1330-2100
1/10 between 1100-1200
30/8 mostly OK
29/8 between 2230-1330
seems ok going back from then, something happened at 2200 on 25/8 but probably unconnected.

I'm currently in an event as I post this, I can live with the latency, and 1Meg download, but not with 75kB/s upload!

And yet I haven't had any problems. So much for "the whole internet" then.

Meanwhile, at the uk.telecom.broadband Job Justification Hearings, Carl

Your internet may be fine, but your sarcasm detector is definitely due its
annual service.
