Nu2 Wireless w/2Problems

Thanks for the opertunity to post here.

I have 2 different Wireless Network problems.

System # 1.


Intel Mobo w/ 1.3G Celeron(PIII) Win ME
Verizon DSL / Welsell 2200 Modem / USR NIC (Works fine Direct Conn.)
D-Link DWL G510 PCI Wireless Card w/ Latest Driver upgrade
(Same problems as before upgrade)

System # 2.

HP 64Athlon Laptop WinXP Home
Builtin Broadcom 801 b/g Wireless

Problem # 1

Activating(enabling) ICSharing shuts off all Local Web Connections
Disabled ICSharing, Local Web access works fine.

Problem # 2

On both systems

Using a unique Workgroup name
Set to "Ad hoc" at 11 mbs
Set to "Open Auth" w/ 128 bit ascii Encription (13 Characters)

Both systems say connected to this unique Workgroup name at 11 mbs

Laptop, on occasion will show Big Box Shared folder in My Network Places under
unique Workgroup name. I cannot access any Shared Folder Data.

BigBox never shows any wireless connection info in My Network Places
