NTP suddenly stops working

I have a windows 2003 domain controller that for years (starting when it was
w2k server) has been syncing w/ a solaris ntp server. However, about a week
ago, I started getting system log msgs w/ event ids 29, 38, 47 telling me
that time synchronization is no longer working. As far as I can tell, nothing
has changed anywhere. I've looked up info on the subject and tried many
variations and permutations to try and get this working again, w/o success.
(w32tm /config /manualpeerlist:<peer>,0x8 /syncfromflags:manual etc). I've
tried w32tm /unregister to start over, tried different servers, etc. I'm not
going across a firewall. I can't think of anything else to try. I would
appreciate any additional suggestions.
