NTP service from AOL

Can anyone recommend any NTP server within the AOL system? I get the
impression that NTP requests are filtered when using certain DSL IP
assignments but not others, so it's uneven whether an NTP request gets a
response. Does anyone know of any NTP server within AOL (or even one
outside which can be contacted from within AOL with high reliability)?

My computer runs at 3.5MHz and I'm proud of that

It's for a router with no DNS function so I'll try using one of the two IP
addresses they are now giving out to see whether it is any more reliable.

Thanks.

Hi,

When using NTP servers, the correct protocol is to inform them that you wish
to use their service. This way, admins of said servers can manage the
network load.

A quick search of the web will give you loads. Universities are a good bet
and most will allow you access if you tell them before hand. If you just
squat on a random server, you may well be filtered out.

Mike.
