NTP Server on Windows server 2003

Hi, i have a simple question.

i have a local network with couple of computers one of which is a
Windows Server 2003,

the question is that;

when type: net time \\my_win2003_IP
from one of the client machines

i would like to get date and time of the server. i've read some post
so far but could get it work, can some one give me step-by-step
configuration of Windows 2003?

net time is outdated, w32tm is the tool of your choice.
You may want to check
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/816042/en-us
"How to configure an authoritative time server in Windows Server 2003"
and the link in this article leading to the XP configuration.
Further details depend from your environment - domain or not.

Thank you, although my firewall is turned off, i get the net try to
get servers' time, i get an error like:

"System error 5 has occurred.
Access is denied."

what may cause the error?

maybe
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555644/en-us
"System error 5 has occurred. Access is denied." error message may appear

may help to figure out, what is the problem.
