ntp on linux- setting wrong time!?

Hi Listers,

I have NTP running on 2 Linux boxes. As far as I can tell, they are
using exactly the same NTP config ie, the following are identical:

-ntp.conf
-/etc/localtime
-/etc/ntp/drift
-/etc/ntp/keys
-/etc/ntp/step-tickers

They are both using RedHat 8.0 (Kernel 2.4.18), and the /etc/rc3.d
file calls ntpd with no arguments.

NTP works fine on the first box. However, on the second box, the time
always seems to be set to exactly 1 HOUR AND 2 MINUTES before the
correct time.

The first box is a Pentium 4. The second box is a Pentium-compatible
Geode CPU. NTP was working on the second box when I first got it, but
I don't know what I've changed since then that could have affected
NTP.

Any clues would be most appreciated- I've been stuck on this for a
while now...
