Oh for fuck sake!
You just don't get it.
Read the words - BT$ are claiming THEY connected 5 millionth customer.
If BAA claims its flown 10 million passengers, there will be an uproar.
It doesn't fly anything.
BT$ broadband doesn't sell anything to the public.
Its sheer buggery to boast 5 millionth ADSL line sold
when its other companies out there thats doing the selling.
This was all planned to get them off the hook of breakup.
They sold 1.4m lines, which is lower than NTL.
They should be broken up. If private companies are doing
a better job of selling 3.6m lines, then where is the need for
btbroadband? particularly as it shows favoritism to btretail
in order to get hold 1.4m customers from other vendors who
are likely doing a better job?
How come UKonline is giving 8mbit with 500GB per month
allowance and BT$ can't? BT$ is highly inappropriate organisation
for today's telecommunications needs.
