digital in the SL6/SL1 postcode areas?

Thanks...

The only people to really know are ntl:Telewest themselves. Speak to Sales

I tend to agree that Sales have no idea as to upgrades etc but have
posted your question in one of the Telewest support groups (Feedback)to
see if any response is forthcoming.

In case they ask what area is SL6/SL1?

Well at least I tried - seems like a dead end

"Hello Alan

Sorry, we do not have that information. Once they start in your area they
will mail all customers with the details

-- Kind Regards Dave Lowings blueyonder Technical Support"

A guy who normally knows whats going on is

Alex Brown
blueyonder Product Manager
Consumer Service Excellence, Telewest Broadband

So if you want to try and get it from the horses mouth you could try
tracking him down, but I suspect you will get nothing from Sales or the
front desk.

Cheers

Alan

lol, i hope you are jokeing, most dont have a clue

i would try a site like ntlhell, it bad when your customers need to band
together to offer support because the tech and customer services arnt up
to it. that said the general dissarray means you can get some cracking
deals from the retentions team and once the technology is setup its pretty
stable.

On this one the comments from Dave L in the BY groups and the other
posters are accurate - the sales guys will know of any such news long
before I do as this isn't something that I'm that close to.

I'll forgo the cheque - how about a free upgrade from 4Meg to 10 Meg
instead?

Alan :-)
