If anyone still uses Dial-Up & want good Value, try NTL Freedom
Dial-Up.

'Pay just £15 a month for unlimited internet access including the cost
of your first £15 worth of voice calls each month. We will send you a
free ntl telephone adaptor (formerly £9.99) which plugs into your BT
line.

You can order additional adaptors by calling our service centre on 0845
650 6123 at a cost of £9.99 each.

Note: A 12 month minimum term applies. '

So, for £15 a month, you get Unlimited dial-up access & £15 worth of
phone calls.

Or for nearly the same price, you can have a 2meg unlimited broadband line,
and use VoIP for your free calls

Ideal for folk who cannot get broadband. I was on that tarrif with NTL for
about 7 years until we got broadband a month ago and went with thier sister
company 'Virgin' taking the bundle 1 option which includes evening and
weekend calls for free. Unfortunate mistake as almost a month later and I am
having to pay BT for calls as Virgin can't get the virgin.talk to work. Just
wish I had gone direct to BT for broadband option 3. I get a far slower
connection than my neighbour who is about 10 times further from the exchange
than me on the same line and he gets his free calls.
