Tonight I'm getting speeds between 34 to 250 with drop outs. Last
night was the same and the night before was the same. Connection gets
dropped in the middle of streaming (baseball) at lead twice a week. It
is NTL because the guy accross the road has BT watches the same games
as myself....no problems at al.

In the last couple of months I haven't had one weeks reliable service
from this bunch. From what I can gather I am on the Renfrew fiasco.

My fellow sufferer it has been "our turn" on and off for the last
couple of months. My good lady entered into an agreement with
Tesco.Net for broadband, 512 no cap, with free telephone calls for
around £14 a month with a commitment for a year. I wasn't consulted.
I would not have agreed.

I have noticed, on the <cam.misc> news group, that the Cambridge area
is being particularly badly hit. I watch MLB.TV baseball and 512 is
just the ticket, when it runs ok. It's quite frustrating at the
moment.

I'm not brave enough to use such services. I send the occasional
e-mail to support......and wait!!!

It seems that it might get a lot worse before it gets any better.

Thanks for response.

Dexter.

I agree, they need to invest money fast, too many areas getting problems.

Just take a look over at www.cableforum.co.uk :0(
