Hello majid,

Make a good tested backup and let your users work. Why not giving them MODIFY
rights on there own data? We do it this way and the user has to learn how
to handle it. And if a user deleted a file we can restore it from the backup,
ok it is a bit older, but that is the users problem not yours.

Best regards

As far as I'm aware, you can't do what you wish. Note that this is a
networking group, and hence not the best group for your question...

An arrangement we use is to allow users to create and delete files, however
where subdirectories are concerned they can only create new ones, not rename
or delete them. If they need to remove data then they call a supervisor.

This prevents most of the 'Explorer slip' type accidents that lose data.

Might be of help.
