Hi,

I am getting event 13562 in the FRS event log, this is due to a dead DFS share (which was being previously replicated) being deleted. I get this error every day, once a day I have found the relevant object using adsiedit but am not happy just trying to delete the object, I know this can cause serious problems. Is there any way I can remove this object from the AD without just deleting it? If I do just delete it what would the repercussions be?

I can't seem to find anything concerning removing these on the web only repair.

The object is not used by any servers or DFS shares anymore.

Thanks in advance,
Dave
