Asking for general knowledge and future reference, and because I can't find
it in the KB.

Suppose you have to restore a full and a differential backup, and both
include the server's system state (and therefore AD). The sequence I
imagine is simply this:

1 - Boot in DSRM
2 - Restore the full backup
3 - Restore the differential backup
4 - Boot normally

Although I would expect that to be all there is to it, I want to make sure
of a couple of things.

In step 2, would you restore the system state, or leave it until the
differential restore? Since the system state is always done in copy mode,
the differential backup should contain the complete AD as I understand it.

If you do restore the AD in step 2, then would you reboot between step 2
and step 3? If so, would you boot in normal mode first and again in DSRM
before the differential restore?

2 more zeros and remove the obvious.
