Hi,

I'm about to upgrade my NT4 domain to Windows 2003.

I have an NT4 member server box running RAS and RADIUS. Is it necessary to
upgrade this box to Windows 2003 if I'm upgrading the domain? I know NT4 is
no longer supported, and I'll be upgrading it anyway, but I want to know if
I must do it as part of the domain upgrade or if it can be done later.

Thank you very much

NT4 RAS is not compatible with the default security in W2K3.
see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/823659
Specifically, you would have to relax the security setting 'allow anonymous
sid to name resolution' to allow NT4 RAS to continue to function.
