Recently, we have installed a Windows 2003 server to our network with both
NTclients and XP clients. Everything has been running fine for two
weeks.Today, suddenly all the NT clients could not map to the drives on the
serverand the server could not print to the shared printer on the NT
clients. However, the NT machines are still able to logon to the domain; and
all the
XP clients are still working fine. We have not changed any setting from
thelast couple days. What could cause this to happen? Thank you in
advance.

sounds like name resolution issue. can you ping each other by ip? if yes, can you ping by name? this page may help,

netbios and wins
.... NetBIOS name resolution such as local cache lookup, WINS server query, broadcast,
.... and WINS resolves NetBIOS names to IP addresses in domain network. ....

Thank you for your reply. They can be ping by both ip or name, but just
can't see the share resources on both end.

Anything in the event logs? Check NetBIOS on W2k3, IPC$, and *Digitally sign
connections* policy.
