Not sure if I am in the right group however, here my problem. I experienced
very slow receiving of email. So I wanted to check if it is a DNS problem
and I ran a nslookup to gather the IP Address of the mail server. Then I
received the following

C:\Documents and Settings\proj1tfc.TFC>nslookup mail.the-freight.com
DNS request timed out.
timeout was 2 seconds.
*** Can't find server name for address 192.168.7.199: Timed out

Make sure the service is running on that computer. Or you may find more
details in this search result.
Nslookup
Nslookup.exe is a tool for testing and troubleshooting DNS servers.
Example. To query for the Chicagotech.net MX record, type the following:
C:\> nslookup . ...
www.chicagotech.net/nslookup.htm
