hi! I've recently configured a second dhcp server in our environment applying
the 80/20 rule. I noticed that those clients that's connected to the new dhcp
server, pointed to the secondary DNS when i did an nslookup. I checked in the
dhcp scope the dns svrs are same for both new and old dhcp server. I issued
the command ipconfig /all on each of the host and the PCs are getting the
exact DNS as per those assigned by the old dhcp server. Any idea why when i
use the command nslookup in the clients (old and new dhcp) has different dns
svr?

Thanks.

That may depend on the resolver service and which one it's currently looking
at as the 'eligible' resolver. The list will change based on if the first in
the list comes back with a no response, and will go to the second in the
list, taking out the first for a certain time period. So nslookup may be
grabbing that one at that specific point in time.

Are the two DNS servers listed, both internal DNS servers?
