ns-2 nam: problem in animation

Hi,
I am trying a very simple simulation with four nodes in NS-2.
When i try to organise my layout by
$ns_ duplex-link-op $n0 $n1 orient right
etc.. the nodes that appear in nam are very big and conceal the queue
and the links are almost invisible. It wokrs fine when i do not use the
above commands except that the layout is jumbled

I would appreciate any help regarding the matter.
Are there any commands in NS regarding the legth of links in nam?
