I recently got a Netgear DG834g, connected to my PC by a cable, and
a wifi laptop set for WPA, and everything seems to work OK.
When I tried switching off 'Wireless Access Point' in the router's
wireless setting, I thought it would stop the wireless from
transmitting.
Although the green 'wireless' LED indicator on the front panel is no
longer lit up, using 'Network Stumbler' shows that it is
transmitting.
Could anyone explain why it is still transmitting
when it's supposedly disabled?
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards,
Terry
