Note BE broadband, no email services for new customers.

To all ye peeps thinking on swapping to Be Broadband and are not aware
of it, BE broadband no longer offers their (paid extra) email services
to new customers

Ye have to get yer own ...

I guess that's because they need to keep the capacity for all their
spammer customers needing the bandwidth...

Why would anybody want an email address that is tied to the broadband ISP
that they are subscribing to at any given time?

Incidentally I am still using two Freeserve email accounts that I got when
I came onto the Internet over 10 years ago. and I have never used Freeserve,
Wanadoo or Orange as an ISP for dial-up or broadband.

Yehbut... millions of people aren't as switched on as you.
When they take up broadband for the first time or change ISPs they
automatically, without thinking, sign up for their ISP's email service and
tell their friends.
