Does anyone know the technical details behind the BT Vision service

1 - can the BT Vision box be connected wirlessly to the router
2 - does one have to use a BT Home hub or will my old BT voyager 2091
work
3 - will a standard Cat 5 connection from the BT vision box back to the
router over a distance of some 40M cause a problem
