error:
Not enough server storage is available to process this
command"
I am trying to map a drive on another computer to this
server. I have permissions. I can access the server from
the laptop. I can access the laptop from a different
server.
W2003, 512 Meg RAM, 150 GB hard drive space, at least 20
GB free.

Thanks.

The problem is "this server". Reapply the latest service
pack on "this server" reboot and try again. Next time you
install apps/drivers from the original CD you have to
remember to reapply the service pack.

Michael,
Where did you find this info? I thought specifically we no longer needed to
do this because of the \ServicePackFiles directory and the other *.cabs that
are in place as a result of the service pack. I also didn't think there was
a service pack for Windows 2003 server yet either.

After NT4 I've found this error is invariably misbehavior
by either antivirus, a software firewall or active malware.

(Under NT4 it could happen if there was a disk error
or a service-pack slip-up, and numerous applications
could cause it, but I think all of that is history.)

You should take a look in the event log on both systems
to see if there are any clues there.
