Can someone please help - I am tearing my hair out over this one.........
I am using a DLink DI-604 router - I am on Win 98 and my partner on XP
We can both access BB no problem - but I cannot access the home network - I
could but something happened a month ago and my system crashed - now when I
try to look at the entire network it tells me I am not logged on - not a
firewall problem - I can't even see myself on the network. We were
networked for a three months without a hitch - and I can't find out what it
is on my PC that is stopping me from accessing the network
Any ideas? Just has to be something really simple...........

TIA

In network properties make sure that "Client for Microsoft Network" is
selected as Primary Logon, and make sure it's set up for a workgroup not
a domain.

Click start and select "log off" (may be in the close down computer
dialogue) When the log on dialogue appears type in your name (or whatever)
leave the password blank if you don't want to have to enter a password
every time it boot up, click OK. You are now logged on and your network
shares will become available.
