Since last week, I don't get an IP address anymore on my WinXP machine
from my Linksys router when WEP is enabled.
IP address is 0.0.0.0, not even the MS IP address one would expect with
failing DHCP is given.

Any clue why?
And I did turn off power on the router.

I have it on two machines, one portable with Cisco NIC and one desktop
with PCI based RealTek WLAN NIC.

rgds,
Koen

You may have already tried this?

check to see if your wep key is correct on the offending machine. if its
hidden with ****..
re-enter it
