Not getting domain login prompt

I've got a Dell Optiplex GX110 here with an integrated
3C905C-TX 10/100 Ethernet. I've also got a Windows NT
domain and for some strange reason the Dell will not give
me a network login prompt at boot.

I *DO* have "Log on to Windows NT domain" checked and have
the correct domain name there. I also have "logon and
restore network connections" checked. "Client for
Microsoft Networks" is set as my "primary logon."

I have hard-coded the WINS servers and the DNS servers as
a precaution. According to the 3Com diagnostics, the on-
board NIC is working fine, but all I ever get at boot is
the Windows login.

Anyone have any suggestions? If I select "log off" from
the start menu I'm presented with a domain login prompt.
It's acting to me like it's caching my domain login
somehow, even though I told it not to...

If so, how do I go about fixing that?

Getting the windows logon instead of your domain logon is symptomatic
of a network card not working properly.

That it subsequently works might mean that your boot sequence needs to
be managed a bit to delay the logon till the rest of the kit is fired
up and working.
