I have recently brought a ethernet bridge/access point to connect all the non-wireless gaming and pc to access the internet. My setup is as follows
I have a D-link N router in office room. A pc is connected to it with ethernet cable and i connect my wireless laptop to router.
I have a Netgear ethernet bridge/access point in family room. I have pc connected to it with ethernet cable.
i can access internet from all the machine. but now i can not share files between 2 machines connected (1 - router ethernet, 1-ethernet bridge)
If i am connected to the router i can not ping IP address of any machines connected to the ethernet bridge and vice versa.
Is there a way to see all the machines connected with the my home network or share files between any machine connected to router or the bridge?
-Thanks
