not able to access DSL through network

I have a small network of 10 computers using XP, 2000 and
ME, I have no problem seeing or accessing any of the
computers. However, with the ME computers they can not
access the DSL internet through the router. I have set
the IP adresses and can ping an address, but Internet
Explorer and AOL can't find a TCIP connection. Please Help.
