Nortel VPN and MN-700 Issue

OK, this issue is all over these boards and I haven't seen a fix. But
here's a twist that I have not seen before...

My hardwired PC will connect to the Nortel Contivity server but it will
not receive any packets after that - outbound works fine...zero
inbound. Ok, that's what a lot of people are experiencing...but...

If I fire up my laptop and connect to the MN-700 wirelessly, the
Contivity client connects fine and works 100% - no issues whatsoever.
Passes traffic in both directions.

Anyone have an idea why the wirelessly connected PC would work and the
hardwired PC would not work???????? It's using the same settings on
the box!
