Try removing the new driver for the MN 720 that was installed with the MS
upgrade on the 98 laptop. See if you can install the older driver that was
used before. After installing the older driver, try again. There's a
reported problem with the new driver for the MN 720 and 730. The driver
file should be located in c:\windows\system on the 98 laptop. Look for
"mn720-50.sys".
