1: Test domain =1 Server2003 and 1 lapotp XP Professional. 2: Created a user
and gave him admin rights. 3: shared a folder to this user and gave him full
access. Laptop logs on no problem and sees a shared folder fine. Boot laptop
from net boot disk and here's where i hit difficulty. NIC drivers load and
can map a drive to the shared folder as in step 2 above (say H: for example).
Can then change to the H drive but when i do a DIR of H: i get "Volume in
drive H has no label. Access denied". I doubt if it is permissions as i can
browse the folder fine once logged on via XP. It is only from a net boot
diskette that there is a problem. Any ideas? couldn't find anyhting on
technet. Many thanks. Cat62
