As a security precaution, I have turned off SSID beacons from my wireless
router. Problem is I cannot access the router anymore. What do I need to
do to enable me to connect again without enabling SSID?

Thanks
Tony

You can specify the default SSID that your wireless cards connect to.

Assuming you're using windows, you need to go to the device manager (Right
click on My Computer -> Hardware (tab) -> Device Manager in XP & 2000). From
here, browse to your Wireless card and then double click. On the Advanced
tab, choose "SSID" and set it to the SSID of your router.

Windows should then by default look on this SSID and connect as normal.
