No networking icon on task bar

Hi,

I have installed a new USB Wireless card (DWL-120). The
networking is working fine but I can't see any activity
indication on the task bar ("two screens" icon is
missing). This indication appears when a direct dial-up
connection is made. What have I missed with the wireless
card installation ?

No such thing exists natively in Windows ME. Everything sounds like it's
working as it should.

Hello Carey,

Indeed, the internet connection is OK, BUT I used to see an image indication
on the task-bar showing the connection speed, etc. With the new
installation, this icon is missing.

That image indication only shows up with a dial-up connection or possibly a
wireless connection if the wireless software is programmed to create such an
icon. Once again, no icon exists natively in Windows ME as you described
except for Dial-up connections.
