No network properties

I have a WIN98SE connected to an NT4 and novell
environment using Microsoft client and novell client. The
computer logs into both fine. We are phasing out our
novell server however when I got to network properties on
this and one other win98 machine there is nothing there
but a blank screen that uses windows logon. It looks like
there are no networking properties setup at all. I can
see this machine on the network and browse the network.
Is this some sortof security setting. Any help much
