Hi all,

message: bringin up interface, SIOCSISFFLAGS: FUNCTION NOT IMPLEMENTED. I
now that right module is loaded. When I try: ifup eth0 I get the same
message.

I'm desperate, any suggestion? please help

Give us more information about the card, the output of 'lspci' would be
useful. What module are you using?

Some systems do not necessarily automatically pick the best module for the
nic. I had that problem with both an old built-in DEC chip where de4x5
works when tulip did not, and Dlink DFE530TX+ where 8139too works and
rtl8139 did not (and if it did not have plus, would use different
chip/module).

Since you did not tell use your nic make/model/model/version, output of
'lspci -v' for it, or what module you are using, it is kind of like saying
"My car does not work, what could be wrong?". Ie. insufficient data.
