After reinstalling Windows 98 I no longer have a network
neighborhood icon on my desktop or in Explorer. I cannot
access it with TWEAKUI because I don't have it and can't
download it...also don't have the C:.windows/options/cabs
that it asks for when I try to install Microsoft Network
Client, although I already seem to have the Network Client
installed. I can access the internet, but not other
computers because I don't have Network Neighborhood. How
can I solve this problem?

By locating either a Windows 98 CD or the CAB files on your hard drive so
you can install the rest of the networking components.

I'm in the same boat! I have reinstalled all of the components for
networking but still no NN. I have two computers linked via a router
and I can "see" only one way. The second computer is running Win2000
and it has NN so I use it to map a drive on the 98SE system for
xfering files. Both computers work the internet fine, I'm using the
non-NN Win98 system to write this.

I've been through the registry and deleted all refs to NoNetHood and
that didn't help. I have Tweak but it does not list the NN icon so the
problem isn't there.
