No network card

For wireless networking and without opening PC to install pci card, is the
only answer to add a USB Network adapter, eg Wireless-G USB Network Adapter
for linksys?

Yes. How else would you expect to do it? The data has to get into the
computer somehow. Is there a reason you don't want to open the
computer? A pci card will work much better than a usb one. It's very
easy to put in a pci card.

Jack - That's a very good point about the pci card stuck behind a desk
or in one of those enclosed "computer desks". Thanks for the
information about what mftrs. you like, too. I've found the Buffalo
wireless access points to be very good, so it makes sense that their
usb wireless adapters would be a good choice.
