No Internet

When I rebooted my 98 machine a week or so ago, it loaded
a device driver called Microsoft TV/Video Connection. I
removed the driver, but since then the machine will not
connect to the internet. I can see the other machines on
my home network and printer sharing works, but it won't
go through the router gateway address to get to the
Internet. Any ideas on what this device driver has changed
that causes this problem? All the DHCP stuff works and
addresses get assigned, it just won't go through the
router to the internet.
