No internet service at wireless computer

I'm doing something wrong. My network is set up, the non-host
computer recognizes the base and I have a strong signal. When I
launch the explorer I get nothing. I've tried resetting and checking
for compatibility, but I'm perplexed. I'm using XP on both units.
Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.
