Hi,

I am using win2000 server as Primary Domain

All Win98 clients are giving an error on log on
"No domains server available to authenticate......"
I have specified the DNS and WINS address in wi98 client

can any one help me in this problem !!!!

Can you ping any server (DNS or WINS) by either name or IP address?

Yes I am able to ping and access the Server Directories on
the sharing basis

By Ip is able to ping to the server, but when i ping with
the server name it shows the successful ping but IP address
is of the local PC instead of the server IP.

Looks like you have some really screwey network settings. Can you run
IPCONFIG /ALL from a DOS prompt and paste the results into a reply here?
