"No domain server was available"

Each time I start up my computer a window pops up
saying "No domain server was available to validate your
pasword. You may not be able to gain access to some
network resources". After I click OK, a new window pops up
asking for a username (it shows the one I set while I was
installing Windows Me), a password (which I did leave
blank at installation) and a domain. This is the only
computer at home and I'm the only user. How can I avoid
having to go over these windows each time?
