This is a training setup, One PC running Win2003 standard (DNS server), the
other PC running WinXP Pro with VPC2007, Win2003 R2 SP1 installed on VPC 2007.
I had a hell of a time getting the network card settings right on the VPC, but
now I can see the VPC on the network in the domain, and I can access the DNS
servers C$ through the windows explorer, by entering domain admin credentials.
But when I log into the VPC server there are no domain login options. I can
only log into the local. Can someone tell me if I failed to install a part of
the server services, or is this a VPC thing. ALSO - Properties of "My
computer" provide no REMOTE tab.

Did you join the virtual computer to the domain yet? If not, you won't have
the option to log into it.
Re remote desktop - I'm not sure if you can use that with a virtual
computer, but you should probably be posting in microsoft.public.virtualpc
anyway, so see if they can offer any advice in there. This is a group for
Windows server issues and isn't the best one for your questions.

Thanks, Sorry for the delayed reply. I wasn't sure if this was a VPC issue or a
server issue, will repost that part of this there. JOINING THE VIRTUAL COMPUTER
TO THE DOMAIN?? How is that done?
