No Domain Controller Error

On one of our Windows XP Pro machines an error keeps appearing in the event
log:

"Windows cannot obtain the domain controller name for your computer network.
(The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted. ).
Group Policy processing aborted."

I have this computer setup exactly the same as the others here, with the DNS
and Domain correct. What could the problem be?

Also...this is with a 2003 server.

If the others work and this one doesn't, it can't be set up in exactly
the same way!

Can you ping the DC by its simple name (like myserver)? By its FQDN? If
you can ping by FQDN but not by its simple name, check the DNS suffix
setting in advanced TCP/IP settings.
